What is the Latino Giving Circle Network?

The Latino Giving Circle Network (LGCN) is a group of intergenerational individuals invested in improving the lives of Latinos in California. Each member of the LGCN pledges to donate at least $1,000 a year ($250 quarterly or $84 a month). All donations are given out in its entirety as LCF does not charge any fees.

Together, each circle defines the issues facing the Latino community that they want to invest in. After the Giving Circle hears from experts and a dynamic pitch from their top three organization choices, the members decide the amounts to be granted out on that same night. Since its inception, the LGCN has invested $212,000 in Latino-based organizations in the Bay Area.

Currently LCF has 10 very dynamic Giving Circles – to see which one is for you click here.

“We are a group of people that care about the Latino community. We meet. We laugh. We share our story. Together we decide how to give back in a meaningful way. Philanthropy becomes fun.”
