How to Apply
While LCF is not accepting unsolicited proposals or letters of interest at this time, we do encourage organizations that meet our organizational criteria guidelines below to contact us and request a meeting to discuss possible funding opportunities.
We also encourage organizations to sign up to receive notices of our grantmaking and organizational programs through our newsletters. Funding opportunities will also be listed on our website as they become available.
Organizational Criteria:
· Provide services that meet LCF’s current funding focus areas.
· Qualify as a Latino-based organization. LCF considers a “Latino-based”
organization as one whose board, staff and beneficiaries are at least 51%
Latino.
· Actively and willing participate in LCF’s learning communities, which
consist of quarterly meetings and/or trainings.
· Use current evaluation methods to determine the success of your work.
· Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity. If your organization does not
have a tax exempt status, LCF will accept applications and make grants to
organizations, projects or entities that are supported by a fiscal sponsor
with a 501(c)(3) status.
· Organization must be based and provide services to Latinos in Alameda,
Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa
Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, or Sonoma counties.
