As the incoming presidential administration openly threatens the safety and security of undocumented and mixed-status families, the Latino Community Foundation is investing in grassroots organizations that are protecting these vulnerable families.
We’re proud to announce 6 strategic capacity grants to frontline immigrant rights organizations across California, helping them to prepare for and respond to imminent challenges. The recipients of these grants do excellent work throughout California, a state where immigrants are vital to economic prosperity and a crucial part of its social fabric. These organizations are:
1. Al Otro Lado (Southern California/Border Region)
2. Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (Central Valley)
3. El/La Para Trans Latinas (Bay Area)
4. Immigrants Rising (Statewide)
5. North Bay Organizing Project (North Bay)
6. TODEC Legal Center (Inland Empire)
To date, LCF’s Latino Power Fund has invested over $9 million through 249 grants to unique nonprofits and leveraged over $750 million in federal resources. These grants aim to foster a thriving, multi-racial democracy where Latinos and all communities can work together to create a shared, prosperous American future.
Thank you for standing with us and for the future we are building together. We must remain united, prepared, and more committed than ever to protecting immigrants in our country.
Together, we can build a brighter future for all.
