Marisa Moret, Board Member

Marisa Moret has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer, advocate, and strategic advisor to businesses, entrepreneurs, and government officials. Currently, Marisa is a Global Director at Airbnb, a platform that offers hosted travel and the ability to live anywhere on a global scale. Founded in 2008, Airbnb continues to innovate and lead the way in helping people make travel their way of life. Marisa serves as the Director of Global Affairs and Partnerships for the Global Policy and Communications Team.

Prior to joining Airbnb, Marisa served as Chief of Staff to San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera for over a decade. The office is considered one of the leading municipal law offices in the nation. Earlier in her career, she was an equity partner with the Nossaman law firm.

Marisa has held numerous leadership positions and currently serves as an independent Director of Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company (LMIC), on the U.S. Spain Council’s Board of Directors, and on the Advisory Boards of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (Alumna ’87), Latinas in Tech, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (SF).

Marisa has been recognized as a Leading Latina by Hispanic Executive, a Trail Blazer by Forbes Magazine, Top Corporate Executive by Latina Style Magazine, Top 100 Influential Latinas by Latino Leaders Magazine, and the Hall of Fame/Board Ready List by The BoardiQ. Marisa is a graduate of Georgetown University and UCLA’s School of Law. She currently resides in San Francisco, California.
