Zac Guevara, Board Member
Zac Guevara has served as an investment analyst, research director, board member, and executive vice president with Capital International Research, Inc. He joined Capital in 1992 as a participant in “The Associates Program” after graduating from Harvard University with an AB in government. He retired in 2009 to actively work in the community. Originally from Salt Lake City, he calls Los Angeles home and is fiercely committed to equity.
Zac currently serves on the board of the California Endowment (past Chair), California Community Foundation, Homeboy Industries, and Communities in Schools and has previously served on the board of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (past chair), Para Los Niños (past chair), Self Help Graphics & Art, KIPP – Los Angeles, Communities In Schools of Los Angeles, and I Have a Dream Foundation – Los Angeles. He also is on the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Los Angeles Advisory Council and a member of the Latino Community Foundation Los Angeles Giving Circle, along with being a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity alum. Apart from his board service, Zac enjoys traveling, Chicano art, hip hop, and NBA basketball.
