Our Civic Power Initiatives

LCF’s initiatives forge a just and equitable future for Latinos. One vote, one leader, one organization, one state at a time.

Latino Nonprofit Accelerator

The Latino Nonprofit Accelerator is LCF’s signature, strategic program and a bold response to a critical need: grassroots organizations deserve change, not charity. Designed as an 18-month incubator, this initiative invests in the growth of Latino and Latina-led nonprofits as a source of community-based power for civic inclusion and opportunity. LCF provides tailored support in branding, storytelling, fundraising and other high-performing, growth-oriented best practices, while creating a network of trust and collaboration among grassroots leaders.

PoderArte

At the heart of PoderArte is the power within our culture to unleash civic action. Through bold campaigns and transformative storytelling, Latino artists and collectives channel this poder, inspiring us to envision and build a multi-racial democracy.

Rest is Power: Sabbatical

In a world where leaders are often overburdened by crises, LCF reclaims rest as both a right and a responsibility. We invest in the well-being of Latino leaders by funding and supporting successful sabbaticals for grassroots leaders. When participants return revitalized, their organizations grow stronger, and their communities thrive.

Civic Power Initiative

Capital Grants Program

We believe in empowering Latino and Latina-led organizations to own spaces. This initiative strengthens community-based organizations by supporting their efforts to establish a physical home and as part of their respective strategies to fulfill their mission and make a tangible impact within their communities.
