Latino Community Foundation’s 100 Days of Latino Resilience Virtual Town Hall With Community Leaders

WHAT: The Latino Community Foundation (LCF) is hosting a virtual Latino Power Fund Town Hall: Resilience in Action, a powerful conversation with 5 nonprofit leaders from across the country reflecting on the first 100 days of the new administration.

At this Town Hall, leaders will share powerful stories of compassion, strength, and innovation in response to federal actions. Together, we’ll explore strategies for resilience and highlight how grassroots organizations are keeping our communities informed, supported, and empowered in the face of ongoing challenges.

This event is part of LCF’s larger activation 100 Days of Latino Resilience: Power in Community, a week-long series from April 26 to May 2 uplifting Latino voices and priorities through virtual convenings, storytelling, and bold calls to action.

WHEN: Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM PT

WHERE: You can register for this virtual event here.

WHO: Julián Castro, CEO of the Latino Community Foundation, will be joined by LCF’s Latino Power Fund Grantees:

  • Masih Fouladi, Executive Director, California Immigrant Policy Center

WHY: In the first 100 days of the new administration, Latino communities have been targeted, scapegoated, and deliberately excluded from national priorities. From harmful rhetoric to policy rollbacks that threaten immigrant families and working communities, the message from Washington has been clear. And it is unacceptable.

The Latino Community Foundation is responding by bringing together the voices of grassroots leaders who are organizing, protecting, and empowering our communities in real time. This Town Hall is a space to highlight their leadership, amplify their solutions, and make it clear that Latinos are not backing down.

Latinos are leading the way forward with resilience, unity, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
