LCF’s Endowment

Endowments are built for the long haul. LCF’s endowment ensures that we can continue to support grassroots movements, build community wealth, and invest in Latino leadership—now and in the next 100 years.

Building LCF’s Endowment for Lasting Impact

An endowment is an essential pillar for any foundation seeking to scale its impact. Unlike a General Support donation, a gift to LCF’s endowment is invested and preserved to generate income over time. Growing our endowment will allow us to:

•Protect our independence as a grantmaker and trusted community leader
•Sustain and grow our investments and partnerships in our Economic Justice and Civic Power pillars
•Weather political and economic shifts with stability and confidence
•Lead boldly with vision, not volatility

General Operating Support is what keeps LCF strong today. The endowment is what will keep us strong tomorrow. Both are critical. Together, they ensure that we can continue transforming philanthropy and investing in Latino power for generations to come.

The Latino Legacy Circle

The Latino Community Foundation honors those who choose to make a lasting impact on the future of Latino communities. Individuals who make a leadership gift to LCF’s endowment are welcomed into the Latino Legacy Circle—a community of visionary donors committed to building generational wealth and power for our community.

Legacy Circle donors are more than contributors—they are partners. Partners in building the multiracial democracy and inclusive economy we know is possible. Their investment in our endowment is not just a gift for today—it is a legacy that will echo for generations to come, fueling the leaders, movements, and solutions that will shape a more just and equitable future.

Members of the Latino Legacy Circle receive special invitations to intimate gatherings throughout the year, including private salons and dinners with movement leaders, changemakers, and fellow philanthropists driving the future of Latino-led impact.

A Collective Commitment

Our endowment is more than a fund—it’s a reflection of trust. A growing network of donors, from individuals to institutions, have come together to invest in a future where Latino communities have the power and resources to thrive.

This is your opportunity to be part of a legacy. When you give to LCF’s endowment, you join a collective of changemakers who believe in the strength, potential, and future of our communities.

Help Us Grow Our Endowment to $100 Million

We’ve set an ambitious goal to grow our endowment to $100 million. Every contribution—no matter the size—brings us closer to securing the future we envision. Whether you’re a longtime partner or a first-time supporter, your gift is a declaration of belief: that Latino communities deserve sustained investment, bold leadership, and a seat at every table.
