Katia is a fierce advocate for Latino communities—and cares deeply about their political representation and economic mobility.
In her current role as Program Manager, Katia works closely with the Latino Giving Circle Network team to support the strategic growth of the network.
In her prior role with the Foundation, Katia played central role in the organization’s signature programs and events, operations, and fund development work by providing administrative and coordination support. She also collaborated with the Senior Team to manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Before joining LCF, Katia was a Junior Consultant at the La Verne Small Business Development Center, where she collaborated with Senior Consultants to provide technical assistance to small businesses and advance economic opportunities in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles counties. She also simultaneously worked with the Executive Office staff for the City of Los Angeles’ Department of Transportation to coordinate several programs.
Katia is a HOPE Latinas College Leadership Program Alumni and a recipient of the Creating a Path to Success scholarship by the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.
Katia graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In her free time, Katia likes to travel, volunteer, and spend time with her pups, Kylo and Dexter.
