We are proud to be a nation of immigrants! People of all nations come to this country in search of a dream and better life. America was born out of ideals rooted in justice, fair representation, and equality. Today, California is home to 10 million immigrants who contribute $650 billion annually to our state’s economy. The current political climate has ignited a response by Latino philanthropists and individuals from all backgrounds who are committed to protect and defend the values that make this an amazing country of innovative leaders and entrepreneurs.
LCF established the Nuestro Futuro Fund as a vehicle for these donors, corporations, and foundations to collectively channel their generous and compassionate commitment to justice and the founding principles of our country. All of the resources raised are invested in organizations working on the frontlines of serving and protecting immigrant families.
LCF is pleased to announce the first round of grants. This week, we awarded $124,000 to 14 Latino-led grassroots organizations that provide legal services and advance immigrant rights in California. The majority of these funds are supporting organizations in the Central Valley—the heart and soul of our great state.
Join us in this movement of philanthropists working together to protect our Nation’s values. Donate to the Nuestro Futuro Fund.
LCF is committed to unleashing the power of Latinos in California, ensuring they continue to shape California’s economic, cultural, and civic future. We will not rest until our community leaders have what they need to move our country forward!
