Jim Foley, Board Member
Jim Foley is a longtime financial executive who has deftly navigated several financial institutions through the most turbulent economic waters. The motto behind his success, “We’re not paid to identify obstacles, we’re paid to overcome them.”
Jim began his career as a management trainee with Wachovia. Today, as Wells Fargo’s Bay Area President, Jim is responsible for 260 banks across the North Bay, the Peninsula, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties.
Jim is active in the community and involved with several organizations, including San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, San Francisco Committee on Jobs, East Bay Economic Development Alliance, United Way, East Oakland Youth Development Center, and Contra Costa Economic Partnership.
Jim earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from Furman University before obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami.
