Monica Pressley, Board Member

Monica Pressley is driven by a personal belief that “a strong investment strategy and performance ensures that 10, 20, 40, 60 years into the future, our children and our children’s children will have a chance to share in the prosperity the Bay Area has to offer.” Today, Pressley serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Foundation. Before joining the Foundation, Pressley served for 13 years as Chief Financial Officer for The San Francisco Foundation. Her leadership skills have been recognized by Harvard Business School Association of Northern California, which selected Pressley as one of top 114 alumni leaders of Bay Area organizations. Prior to this role, she served as a Chief Administrative Officer for Barclays Global Investors, Director of Finance for Dividend Development Corporation, and as a consultant for Charles Schwab & Co.

Pressley received the 2001-2002 Jim Stocker Award for Volunteer Excellence for consulting work done over the previous ten years as a member of Harvard Community Partners.

She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA and holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
