Yolis Ruiz is a committed champion of the Latino community and is passionate about creating more opportunities for all Latinos. She has served in various committees at LCF and is currently serving as our Audit Chair and Treasurer. Yolis has spent her career in finance and strategy roles and is currently the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Coursera. Prior to Coursera she held finance roles at various organizations including Eventbrite, Gladly, and Gap Inc. Earlier in her career she served as an investment Partner at Pacific Community Ventures, and also served as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group.
Yolis received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from ITESM (Monterrey, Mexico) and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University. She was born in Texas and raised on the border towns of Matamoros and Brownsville, Yolis now lives in the Bay Area with her husband and three sons.
