When leaders are trusted, lifted and given the best — there is no limit to what they can achieve.
The Latino Community Foundation launched the Latino Nonprofit Accelerator to position nine awe-inspiring Latino-led organizations for success. Through the first-ever Accelerator, each organization receives world class mentorship to help them achieve their marketing, storytelling and fundraising goals. Using the power of culture and a loving community, we push each other to lead from a place of strength!
Our unique model is working! Just a few highlights:
• Through relationships built during Accelerator retreats and with grant-writing support, HOMEY raised $85K from new funders and donors.
• Faith in the Valley created new marketing collateral and launched a brand new individual donor program securing new funding in the Central Valley.
• After spending time with our cohort, Elena Chavez invested in Digital NEST through her family foundation, The Chavez Family Foundation, and penned a Call to Action to philanthropy.
In our fast-paced world, photographs have the power to stop time. All cohort members have also been paired with a world class photographer, helping to capture their work, culture, and spirit in action. Please take a minute to experience the power of our inaugural cohort:
Fathers & Families of San Joaquin organizes, heals, and uses culture to build people power to reclaim a new destiny for Stockton.
Faith in the Valley organizes people, inspired by their faith, to radically transform themselves and their communities across the Central Valley.
Chicana Latina Foundation invests in the power and potential of Latinas so they graduate from college ready to lead.
