Jose is a Bay Area native dedicated to serving his community by promoting civic engagement.
In his role as Civic Engagement Fellow, Jose will create a voter guide for the 2018 midterm elections as well as provide outreach for the 2020 US Census.
Jose is currently a Senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Political Science with a focus on international relations and American politics, as well as a minor in Political Economy. He currently sits on the Executive Board of the CAL ACLU where he focuses on community outreach, as well as on the Hayward Area Democratic Club Executive Board, where he focuses on youth scholarship outreach. Growing up in the Bay Area has given Jose a drive to help give back to the Latino community and he is excited to be a part of the LCF Team. In his free time, Jose enjoys photography, hiking, and super hero movies.
