Eager to help strengthen LCF’s core operations to better serve the comunidad, Juanita joins the Operations team as a Finance and Operations Manager.
Brining over 20 years of experience serving in a variety of spaces, including the non-profit sector, Juanita has a honed ability of bringing people and processes together to collectively work towards a common purpose. This ability was on full display while serving as an Operations Assistant at the W. M. Keck Foundation where she managed a dual role in office management and accounting.
As the Finance and Operations Manager at LCF, Juanita supports the finance and operations team in strengthening financial processes, internal controls, and logistics for LCF gatherings in Southern California.
As an immigrant, Juanita has experienced firsthand the importance of accessing a quality education and is currently working towards completing her BA at California State University, Los Angeles. She loves spending time with her family, going to flea markets, and exploring the outdoors.
