The Latino Community Foundation is grieving with our friends and families that have been affected by the earthquake in Mexico. The road to recovery will be long, but we are a strong and resilient community. The images of everyday people pulling together to help their neighbors is a reminder that our culture is one built on community, generosity, and love.
In response, we have created a relief fund to help support the recovery in Mexico. We hope you will join us.
These radio stations have partnered with us to raise funds:
Funds collected will be distributed to Fundacion Merced in Mexico that is working on a short and long term strategy for recovery. LCF funding is in compliance with international grantmaking and foreign activities procedures.
Phase 1 – SUSTAINABLE HABITAT RECOVERY

Phase 2 – MEANS FOR RESTORING THE SOCIAL ORGANIZATION AND THE COMMUNITY ECONOMY
Aimed at facilitating inputs to reactivate the chain of sustenance and strengthening of participatory, organizational and economic processes truncated by the earthquake, so that affected families can restore their daily lives and capacity to respond to their needs.
