Amber is an activator on a mission to leverage the energy and potential of Latino millennials to create a more equitable society.
In her current position as Operations Manager, she manages the internal wheels of the Foundation. She has been instrumental in establishing the LCF Internship and Fellowship programs as well as the “Yo Voy a Votar ¿Y Tú?” voter registration campaign.
Prior to joining LCF, Amber worked for four years at UC Berkeley’s LEAD Center, where she helped others discover their leadership strengths and learn how to work effectively with diverse teams. A mover and shaker, she has been a contributor to the Huffington Post’s Latino Voices blog and also worked as an Editorial Intern at Her Agenda, a digital media platform working to elevate the achievements of millennial women.
Amber is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she received Bachelor’s Degrees in both Political Economy and French and minored in global poverty and practice. She carries a California spirit and Peruvian soul in her personal and professional life. These days, that translates into pursuing her dreams of writing a New York Times bestseller and visiting 30 countries by the time she turns 30.
