Anna is a creative and strategic thinker, who is passionate about building a positive narrative for the Latino community.
As Visual Communications Director, Anna develops dynamic visual storytelling to strengthen the Latino Community Foundation brand, increase statewide and national visibility, and engage new partnerships. In her previous roles in the Foundation as Communications and Philanthropy Manager, she was instrumental in the exponential growth of the Latino Giving Circle Network® and continues to provide strategic input for most LCF programs.
Prior to joining LCF, Anna worked for PaTS Peru, a nonprofit focused on indigenous Amazonian communities producing environmentally sustainable wood items. There, she worked as a graphic designer and collaborated with the Marketing team, playing a vital role in transforming the design and communications strategy of the organization to reach new target markets. Previously, she also served as Community Outreach Coordinator in the Chicana Latina Foundation.
Anna holds a Bachelor’s in Advertising, Public Relations and Graphic Design from Chapman University. Growing up in Peru, Anna learned firsthand the importance of being civically engaged and influencing a generation of changemakers for social justice. She brings these lessons to bear every day in her work at LCF. In her spare time, she enjoys creating art, traveling, and spending time with family.
