Marily is dedicated to working towards a more equitable and inclusive society, including reshaping philanthropy.
Prior to joining LCF, Marily worked at the World Economic Forum as a Coordinator, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, where she was committed to amplifying diverse voices in the tech space. Marily supported and collaborated on numerous projects and events, bringing together diverse stakeholders to regulate and deploy responsible AI.
Marily holds an M.A. in Global and International Studies, specializing in science, technology, and global affairs. She possesses a profound comprehension of the intricate interplay between technology and society. Notably, her master’s thesis delved into the vital issue of reintegrating Mexican women returnees into the tech industry through software coding boot camps. This research highlighted the path toward economic, social, and psychosocial reintegration into Mexican society.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops with her partner and spending quality time with her kitten.
