In her role as the Latino Giving Circle Network Co-Director, Raaida supports the growth and development of the nation’s largest network of Latino donors. As a social innovation expert with more than fifteen years of experience, Raaida has developed a number of initiatives in over 60 countries. Raaida is the Founding Curator of the Barranquilla Hub of the Global Shapers Community, a network of exceptional young people created by initiative of the World Economic Forum. In January 2014, she was chosen as one of the 50 Shapers representing the voice of youth at the Annual Meeting of the Forum at Davos, being the first and only Colombian woman under 30 to ever participate in the event. She has also co-founded red2021, a campaign linking youth volunteering commitments and served as the Communications Coordinators for the Wake Up Call, an activism movement that engaged 27.000 people from 84 countries in one day.

Most recently, Raaida served as the Global Advocacy and Partnerships Manager for the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE). She is also served as the Director of CLAVE, a forward-looking network of companies promoting corporate volunteering for the sustainable development of Latin America. As an international speaker, she’s been featured in formats like TEDxCreative Mornings, and TVMorfosis. Raaida has served in the International Board of Directors for Partners of the Americas. She serves on the group of International Chairs for Global Dignity, an initiative promoting a worldwide conversation about the importance of dignity as a basic human principle, and is a member of the Alumni Council of University of Cambridge‘s Judge Business School.

Born in the Colombian Caribbean in a household with Lebanese and Brazilian background, Raaida inherently has a multicultural perspective, a curious spirit, and a solid commitment to promote social inclusion.
