Stacie Olivares, Board Member

Stacie Olivares is an experienced C-suite executive, independent board director, economic advisor, and policy expert driving equitable and sustainable economic progress through finance, technology, and policy. She leads high performing companies, investments, and organizations advancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Across media platforms, Olivares authentically engages diverse audiences on finance, technology, and policy, simplifying the complex and cultivating collaboration. Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) appointed Olivares to its board in April 2021, citing her ESG investment, insurance, and capital markets expertise. Earlier that year, Olivares joined the board of Mission Advancement Corp. (NYSE: MACC), a special purpose acquisition company focused on the consumer market and social impact.

In 2019, California Governor Gavin Newsom appointed her to the Board of Administration of CalPERS, the largest public pension in the United States with $500B and 2 million members. Since 2014, she has served on the board of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, established by the White House in 1987 to advance national policy for Latino progress.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in Business and Government from Harvard University.
