We are grateful for the generosity of our donors! At this year’s 10th Anniversary Gala, LCF held a live auction to support the work of Latino-based nonprofit organizations across the State. We are thrilled to announce that $40,500 will be invested in 12 Latino-based organizations.
This year, an additional $16,000 was raised to create a Philanthropic Mentorship Fund for ourLatino/a Giving Circle Network. LCF’s Giving Circle requires a minimum of a $1,000 yearly donation. The Gala Mentorship Fund will support 32 emerging Latino philanthropists with a $500 stipend to get them started in philanthropy. Their dollars be pooled in the circle and invested back into the Latino community through Giving Circle grants. We are so proud of our Latino/a Giving Circle movement! As of today, we have 112 members!
