Because of the Pain. We Press Forward.

Our hearts are broken. Once again. The images bear witness to the human suffering.

The desperation.

But with broken hearts we must keep pressing – for the families, for the voiceless, for the ones that left believing in hope for a better life.

Press forward through the pain.

We must not lose courage. We can -and must- undo the broken, irresponsible, inhumane, unjust system that criminalizes, tears families, and destroys lives.

Simply because they too seek hope and opportunity.

Many have asked what to do now.

First, take courage. Light will always overcome darkness.

Then Act.

Call or write your representative. Tell them you are sick and tired of the injustice, the inertia, the playing of political games with people’s lives.

Offer hope. There are families right now awaiting legal defense, fighting for asylum, waiting their turn for justice.
